What is a Message Board and how does it work?
Now a days you might hear the word forum more than message board. A forum is more specific, and falls within a scope of a message board. Here is a breakdown of what makes up a message board.
Message Board
- A message board is a web site location that has software associated with it designed to organize content, comments or posts of members in a timeline or list. It shows a list of Forums that are sometimes grouped into categories.
- A Forum is a list of Topics on subject of the forum, which contain member posts, or comments.
- A Topic is a list of Posts or Comments.
- Posts or Comments could be just text. Text that quotes a previous comment. Text with photos or video on the subject of the topic. Or, just a photo, series of photos or videos.
